Tom Black, FNP

Tom grew up in Rhode Island and spent some time living in Maine, Tennessee, and Florida. In the 1996 he had the opportunity to visit Santa Fe, falling in love with the beautiful sunshine, the deep blue skies, the mountains and the lack of humidity. After wandering different parts of the country while working and attending various schools, he found his way back to New Mexico and am quite happy to be here. After high school he was not ready for college and spent 4 years in the Marines and later completed an associate degree program in physical therapy, working in that field for twenty or so years. In 2015 he completed nurse practitioner school in Miami, Florida and have been practicing in family medicine ever since. He has one son who is married and living in Florida. Tom feels fortunate to be part of the East Mountain Medical team and look forward to becoming part of and offering assistance in our community.
